Another difference is the seasons. 4 has clear distinct seasons, including snow. 5 has wet season, somewhat less wet season, dry season, etc. Some people didn't like the snow in 4. Personally I did but I like rally racing, dirt racing, etc., so I had a lot of cars tuned for that. Forza 4 takes place in Great Britain. Forza 5 takes place in Mexico. Besides that. Not much. Latest cars will be added to Forza 5. Not much save more realistic car sounds, a ton more cosmetic and performance options for your cars, a larger map, a new and improved building system for custom events, new ways to play online with a drop in, drop out system, new mini games, a bigger story mode0000. Forza Horizon 5 is undoubtedly one of the best racing games. It may not have a huge modern city, but it sure makes up for that with its sheer beauty. Taking place in a fictional recreation of Mexico, Horizon 5 takes full advantage of the many highly-detailed biomes the country has on offer, whether that be large twisty mountain roads, dense forests showing off some detailed foliage, old Mexican NFS heat is arcadey, but the racing can be pretty great with top tier players. (Although the meta is disgustingly boring, if all players were of equal skill, the porsche RSR wins everytime.) Forza Horizon 4 has more things to do, way more cars and a wider "meta". However, ramming seems really prevalent here. FACR Dan: I’ve just played for around 2h on Series X and to my surprise cars seem to look worse than FH5 counterparts. Reflections, colors especially even resolution 😕 If I had never played both games, was presented them side by side and asked which is newer/better, I would vote for Horizon (in graphics department). I’m afraid T10 put too much focus on RT, so ineed there is RT during gameplay Forza Horizon 4 on the other hand, is a full blown Arcade Racing Game, meaning that it's physics and car handling isn't realistic. It's a huge game, filled with hundreds of different cars. The world is gorgeous and very fun to explore, and the multiplayer aspect is really fun (having a lot of cool activities to do online, not only racing). BeamNG is a realistic simulator with actual crash physics, while FH4 is a sim-cade with realistic graphics and a lot of licensed cars to choose from. BeamNG is about the customization and freedom to do what you want, while FH4 is about racing and open world fun. Realism factor wise, Beam is the better choice by a long shot. Ankfbpb.
