It depends entirely on what you want. Euro has cities closer together while American has vast stretches of road. Euro also has more variety in scenery because everything is closer together. American does have variety, but you have to drive farther to see it. I liked the design of American trucks more so I went with this one. All the HUGE states are done with Texas. And yes, the further east you go, the more populated the states become, but as you pointed out, there's only so much they can add to each state, due to the scale.
